MILWAUKEE (November 15, 2021) – 102.9 The Hog (WHQG-FM) is excited to bring yet another FEST to the City of Festivals – Hog Fest 2022 at Fiserv Forum on Friday, May 6, 2022. One of Milwaukee’s favorite bands, rock legends Godsmack, will headline an amazing roster of rock performers including Three Days Grace, Asking Alexandria, Wage War and Lilith Czar.
“Milwaukee LOVES a huge rock show and loves Godsmack. So, we called them, along with a few of our other friends, and all are excited to perform at Hog Fest 2022,” said Borna Velic, Program Director of 102.9 The Hog. “We can’t wait to ROCK with thousands of our closest friends at the incredible Fiserv Forum this spring.”
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase a VIP ticket, which will allow early entry into an exclusive preshow party and acoustic performance. The VIP ticket also includes a reserved seat within the first eight rows, complimentary finger foods and refreshments at the preshow party and a commemorative VIP laminate.
Godsmack--Sully Erna [vocals, guitar], Tony Rombola [guitar], Robbie Merrill [bass] and Shannon Larkin [drums]--speaks louder, fights harder, and grows stronger each day. Through an uncompromising attitude and uncanny knack for a hummable hook, they quietly became one of modern rock’s most reliable and resonant institutions. Against all odds, the boys have broken one ceiling after another. Most notably, they’ve earned 21 Top 10 hits at Active Rock--the most of any act since February 1999. Joining a prestigious club that includes Van Halen, U2, Metallica, Dave Matthews Band, and Linkin Park, they debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 three consecutive times. They’ve sold over 20 million albums worldwide, garnered four GRAMMY® nods and won “Rock Artist of the Year” at the Billboard Music Awards.
Since 2003, Three Days Grace has staked a spot amongst the hard rock vanguard, quietly breaking records, toppling charts, moving millions of units worldwide and making history by holding the all-time record for “most #1 singles at Active Rock Radio ever” with 13. The Ontario, Canada quartet—Matt Walst [lead vocals], Barry Stock [lead guitar], Brad Walst [bass] and Neil Sanderson [drums, percussion, keyboards, programming]—continue to blaze that trail on their sixth full-length album, the aptly titled Outsider [RCA Records].
Asking Alexandria has established a world of rock music that is completely their own. Now, over a BILLION streams later, Ben Bruce [guitar, backing vocals], Danny Worsnop [lead vocals], James Cassells [drums], Cameron Liddell [guitar] and Sam Bettley [bass], are readying their next chapter. “Alone Again” is the first single off the rock band’s seventh studio album – a fitting first offering of the sonic journey on which the world is about to join them. The album is a rallying cry and a statement of a group of artists who are here to stay and ready more than ever to be heard.
Through an unwavering dedication to progression, Wage War sharpen their patented hybrid of heavy pit-starting technicality and hummable hypnotic melodies with each subsequent evolution. The band—Briton Bond [lead vocals], Cody Quistad [rhythm guitar, clean vocals], Seth Blake [lead guitar], Chris Gaylord [bass] and Stephen Kluesener [drums]—drove themselves to fully realize their ambition by pushing harder.
Lilith Czar arrives with the force of an otherworldly thunder, arising in visceral rebirth from an untimely grave of surrender and sacrifice. Her voice is the sound of supernatural determination, summoned with a confessional vulnerability and unapologetic authenticity. The girl who was Juliet Simms - her dreams discouraged and dismissed, her identity confined and controlled - is no more. In her place stands Lilith Czar, a new vessel forged in unbridled willpower and unashamed desire. Created from filth and dust, destined to be King… Lilith Czar.
